Outline (in English)
（Course outline）Learn the idea of the physical law that governs physical phenomena on the field of mechanics. Understand that many physical laws are beautiful logical systems naturally guided from the few "basic laws".
（Learning Objectives）Based on the "fundamental laws" that form the basis of the course, students will be able to think, understand, and explain the physics logic of why things are the way they are and why we think they are the way we do. Forgetting once and for all the physics for entrance examinations in which students simply apply formulas, students will learn the fundamentals of how to think by thoroughly training how to think in a way that allows them to build up logic from scratch.
（Learning activities outside of classroom）The standard study period outside of class time for preparation and review for this class is 4 hours.
（Grading Criteria /Policy）Grading will be based on the overall evaluation of the student's performance, reports, etc. (50%) and the final examination (50%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
力学の基礎の分野について，物理現象を支配する物理法則の基本的な考え方を習得する．物理学の公式としてではなく，ほとんどの物理法則は数少ない「基本法則」から自然に導かれる美しい論理体系であることを理解する．
到達目標Goal
基礎となる「基本法則」を礎にして，なぜそうなるのか・なぜそう考えるのかの物理学的な論理を自分で考え・理解し・説明できるように組み立てられるようになる．公式に当てはめるだけの受験物理は一旦忘れ、一から論理を積み上げられる考え方のトレーニングを徹底することで考えかたの基礎を学ぶ．

２クラス制とした比較的少人数による授業を想定する．基本的には各回のテーマに沿って概要を講義し，基本的な理解を得る．更に演習問題を交えて実際の問題を解くことによって，実践力を養う．毎回の課題は次回に解説を行い，フィードバックする．
