Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course introduces basic physics experiments such as electric circuits, dynamics, thermal phenomenon and optics, to students taking this course.
(Learning Objectives)
The goals of this course are to understand
(1) What is the experiment.
(2) Physics theories and principles of each experimental theme.
(3) Mechanisms of experimental and measuring equipments.
(4) Data processing and graph creation method and evaluation of experimental results.
(5) How to draw conclusions from experiment results.
(6) How to publish experiment results.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
After each class meeting, students will be expected to spend an hour to understand the course content.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Grading will be decided based on lab reports (50%), and the quality of the students’ experimental performance in the lab (50%).
