Outline (in English)

Course Outline
This class aims at improving students’ academic reading ability through the acquirement and development of extensive vocabulary, accurate grammatical knowledge and sentence structure analysis skills. As for vocabulary development, this class focuses on comprehending and mastering a wide variety of vocabulary and useful expressions in the science and engineering fields. As for the instruction of grammar and sentence structure, it emphasizes the application of previous knowledge to read actual academic English materials rapidly and concisely.
By the end of the course, students should be able to attain the basic academic reading ability.

Acquire deeper understanding of vocabulary and sentence structures often encountered in academic writing.
