Outline (in English)

(Learning Objectives)
Now a days 'Simulation' is a common word for the method to calculate and predict the state of an real object based on a mathematical model obtained by observation without using the real materials.
The purpose of this class is as follows, we will focus on the microscopic world and deepen our understanding of the chemical bond theory and the spectroscopy by visualizing molecular orbitals and calculating vibrational states using the Molecular Orbital simulation package Gaussian and its GUI GaussView.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Grading will be decided based on reports.
