Outline (in English)

The purpose of this course is for students to deepen their understanding of the earth and the impact of human activities through the analytical chemistry, and to consider the relation between the environment and the anthropogenic activity. Students will obtain basic knowledge of the materials circulation on the earth, the chemical systems of the atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere, the relation between elements and living things especially human beings, food and resource issues, global warming, and waste recycling.
