Outline (in English)
（Course outline）
The aim of this course is to learn the computer technology necessary for studying and researching chemistry. In particular, students will learn how to understand chemical phenomena through computer simulations.
（Learning Objectives）
At the end of the course, students are expected to understand the basics of computer simulations described above.
（Learning activities outside of classroom）
After each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
（Grading Criteria /Policy）
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
Short reports : 60%、in class contribution: 40%.

化学を学び、研究する上で必要なコンピュータ技術を学ぶことを目的とする。特に、コンピュータシミュレーションにより化学現象を理解する方法を学ぶ。
到達目標Goal
・化学におけるコンピュータシミュレーションの重要性・有用性を理解する。
・コンピュータシミュレーションの基本的な方法を身につける。
