Outline (in English)

Biochemistry enhances the molecular-based understanding of biological systems and phenomena. Knowledges of biochemistry is necessary to understand the recent advanced-biological science. The aim of this course is to gain knowledges of bio-molecules such as proteins, lipids, sugars, and genetic transcription, bio membrane, metabolism, and enzyme reaction. By the end of the course, students are expected to learn how biomolecules have emerged and been evolving. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: 70 % mini-tests and 30 % final test.
