Outline (in English)

◆Course outline
 Students will examine this relationship from a historical point of view using "food", "agriculture" and "region" as keywords. We will consider the "environment" from both the "natural environment" and "social environment" and think about the structure of a sustainable society from various cases.
◆Learning Objectives
 Students will gain an understanding of the history of food, agriculture, and local communities, and acquire the basic knowledge and perspectives to discuss the local environment. The course aims to examine the issues and future prospects of contemporary society through literature reading and specific case studies.
◆Learning activities outside of classroom
 The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each. In particular, please read the assigned literature carefully, prepare a resume, and discuss the issues.
◆Grading Criteria /Policy
 Evaluation will be based on lecture participation and report (50%) and final report (50%). Specifically, evaluation will be based on initiative, originality, and solidity. The theme will be presented at the beginning of the lecture.
