Outline (in English)
【Course outline】Students will develop an awareness of the issues involved in writing a master's thesis.Students will investigate previous research and determine their own research topic. Students discover issues, formulate hypotheses, and develop and discuss their arguments with previous research. Students are expected to draw a final conclusion and write a paper.
【Learning Objectives】Students will select an appropriate topic and conduct a literature search to clarify the position of their own research topic in previous studies. Determine the research method by identifying the necessary research. Students will learn how to analyze the data obtained in an appropriate manner.
Students will tart writing a paper.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】Students will continue to investigate their research topic.
【Grading Criteria】Evaluation will be made on the basis of 30% of normal points, 10% of presentations, and 60% of research content.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
修士論文の執筆に向けた問題意識の醸成、文献検索の方法、調査、解析方法などを身につけ、論文作成に必要な能力を身につける。学生は先行研究を調査し、自分の研究テーマを決定する。課題発見、仮説の設定、先行研究を交えながら論を展開し、考察し、結論を導き出し、最終的に論文を執筆する。
到達目標Goal
学生が適切なテーマを選択し、文献検索を行って自身の研究テーマの先行研究における位置づけを明確にする。
必要な調査を明らかにすることにより、調査方法を決定する。得られたデータを適切に分析するための解析方法を学ぶ。
論文作成を開始する。

個別と受講者全体が集まる二つの形態による指導を行う。受講者が進めている研究内容について報告し、参加者全員で質疑・討論を行う。受講者全員が検討に参加することにより、研究がブラッシュアップされ、理解度が深まることを狙っている。個別指導においては、研究の進捗状況に応じて報告し、研究深化のための議論を行う。論を展開するうえで必要となる参考文献を選び、論理を構築する。
執筆に際しては、表現技法、論文形式についての指導も行う。
