Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
After learning an outline current environmental issues and a role of environmental engineering, we will learn about individual fields that are deeply related to our lives from the perspective of environmental engineering.
Through this class, students will understand why various environmental problems are occurring around them, and learn what factors they contain. Students will learn environmental technologies and systems as a method to solve it.

(Learning Objectives)
In class, students will understand the factors surrounding environmental issues that are particularly familiar to them, and will learn that issues are interrelated and multifaceted.
Environmental science is the foundation for solving environmental problems. By taking this course, students will be able to understand the environment around them, learn how past problems were solved, and learn about the current situation and challenges.
By understanding past problems and approaches to solving them, students will be able to acquire new perspectives on how to perceive new problems and how to solve them.

•The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Grading will be done by term-end report (100%).
Evaluation is based on the degree of basic comprehension of the item, and the degree of summary and consideration of the theme from multiple perspectives.
