Outline (in English)
【Course, outline】The class aims to develop graduate students' ability to write a master's thesis and give an oral presentation according to a research plan on sports, health, and physical fitness. In each class, graduate students will be given the assignment to present in the next class, and the whole class will discuss and exchange opinions. In order to accomplish these tasks and to complete the master's thesis, the graduate student's active participation in preparation and discussion will be emphasized. 【Learning Objectives】By the end of the Course, graduate students should be able to: 1. summarize research data as a master's thesis and present it in an easy-to-understand manner. 2. to clarify the position of one's research results about previous research. 3. Discuss the significance of the data obtained from experiments and surveys. 【Learning activities outside of classroom】Each class will be instructed on the progress of experiments and investigations related to the master's thesis, so please work according to the assigned tasks. Furthermore, since graduate students are often required to make a presentation based on discussions in class, please review their assignments, and review and revise them. In addition, the submission of assignments on "Restructuring the master's Thesis," "Writing an Introduction to Understand the Research Background," and "Writing a Discussion as an Interpretation of the Research Findings" are required for evaluation.【Grading Criteria /Policy】Achievement in analyzing, discussing, and summarizing materials and data for completing the master's thesis (80%), presentation at the interim presentation of the master's thesis (10%), and attitude toward participation in presentations (10%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
①修士論文作成に必要な研究の文章化、そしてこれを発信する力を高める。
②健康・スポーツ体力学に関連した課題をもとに，修士論文の作成，口頭発表の手法を見据えた演習を行う。修士論文作成に向けて実際に文章を執筆し，研究の背景（緒言）や考察の展開方法，提示方法を習得する。
到達目標Goal
① 研究データを論文として纏め上げ、わかりやすくプレゼンテーションできる。
② 実験・調査の結果を使用し，従来の研究に対する研究成果の位置づけを明確化できる。
③ 実験・調査で得られたデータが，どのような意義を有するか考察することができる。

スポーツ・健康体力学に関する研究計画に従って，修士論文に向けた本文の執筆および口頭発表に向けた発表能力の育成を目指します。修士論文の完成および口頭試問における理解しやすいプレゼンテーションの実現を最終的な目標とします。
授業においては，毎回課題を出し，次回の授業で発表した上で，それに対して受講者全体で討論や意見交換を行います。これらの課題遂行，さらには修士論文の完成に向けては，準備および討論等，受講者の主体的な参加が重視となります。

研究を行う意義について，「緒言」としてまとめるための提示方法，執筆方法を学ぶ。
2回[対面/face to face]：修士論文の構成の確認
修士論文中間発表会に向け，研究目的，方法などを再確認し，提示方法について学ぶ。
3回[対面/face to face]：修士論文中間発表会に向けた発表練習
修士論文中間発表会への準備として発表練習を行い，受講者間で論議を行う。
4回[対面/face to face]：修士論文の再構成
修士論文中間発表会で受けたコメントを受けて，再構成した修士論文全体のアウトラインを発表する。
5回[対面/face to face]：研究の位置づけ：「文献研究」の書き方
実験・調査の結果をとりまとめ，「文献研究」を踏まえた上で，研究成果が該当分野のどこに位置づけられるのかを明確にする。
6回[対面/face to face]：研究の位置づけ：「文献研究」の提示方法
先行研究を整理し，研究目的が理解できるよう「文献研究」を執筆し，発表する。
7回[対面/face to face]：研究背景を理解できる「緒言」の構成
「文献研究」および実験・調査に関する「方法」，「結果」を踏まえ，修士論文の「緒言」部分のアウトラインを執筆して発表する。
8回[対面/face to face]：研究背景を理解できる「緒言」の執筆
前回の講義内容に基づき，「緒言」を執筆して発表し，履修者全体で論議する。
9回[対面/face to face]：研究結果の解釈：「考察」の構成
得られた結果をどのように「考察」していくべきかについて，様々な手法を学ぶ。
10回[対面/face to face]：研究結果の解釈：「考察」の展開方法
前回の講義内容に基づき，「考察」のアウトラインを作成して発表し，論議を行う。
11回[対面/face to face]：研究結果の解釈：「考察」の執筆
前回の論議内容に基づき，「考察」を再構成し，内容を発表する。
12回[対面/face to face]：修士論文のまとめ：「結語」の提示方法
修士論文全体の「結語」を作成して発表し，主張が首尾一貫しているかどうか，趣旨が明瞭かどうかを確認する。
13回[対面/face to face]：修士論文の校正
執筆規定に基づいて本文が書かれているかを確認し，校正を行う。
14回[対面/face to face]：要旨の作成
修士論文提出に向けた準備として，要旨の作成法を学ぶ。
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
原則，毎回の課題に加えて，修士論文に関する実験・調査の進行を指示する予定ですので，課された課題に従って予習の作業を行ってください。また，授業での論議に基づいて発表内容を修正して再発表する課題（3，4，6〜8，10〜12，15回）も多いため，自らの課題を見直し，復習・修正を行ってください。これらの予習・復習のために要する時間は，それぞれ2時間以上を標準とします。また，4，8，11回目の「修士論文の再構成」，「研究背景を理解できる「緒言」の執筆」，「研究結果の解釈：「考察」の執筆」に関する課題の提出は，評価のための必須項目となります。
