Outline (in English)

【Course, outline】The class aims to develop graduate students' ability to write a master's thesis and give an oral presentation according to a research plan on sports, health, and physical fitness. In each class, graduate students will be given the assignment to present in the next class, and the whole class will discuss and exchange opinions. In order to accomplish these tasks and to complete the master's thesis, the graduate student's active participation in preparation and discussion will be emphasized. 【Learning Objectives】By the end of the Course, graduate students should be able to: 1. summarize research data as a master's thesis and present it in an easy-to-understand manner. 2. to clarify the position of one's research results about previous research. 3. Discuss the significance of the data obtained from experiments and surveys. 【Learning activities outside of classroom】Each class will be instructed on the progress of experiments and investigations related to the master's thesis, so please work according to the assigned tasks. Furthermore, since graduate students are often required to make a presentation based on discussions in class, please review their assignments, and review and revise them. In addition, the submission of assignments on "Restructuring the master's Thesis," "Writing an Introduction to Understand the Research Background," and "Writing a Discussion as an Interpretation of the Research Findings" are required for evaluation.【Grading Criteria /Policy】Achievement in analyzing, discussing, and summarizing materials and data for completing the master's thesis (80%), presentation at the interim presentation of the master's thesis (10%), and attitude toward participation in presentations (10%).
