Outline (in English)

【Course outline】The learning objective of this class is to acquire the ability to accurately measure and evaluate physical fitness and physical functions related to physical activity.

【Learning Objectives】By the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. Understand the general concept and structure of physical fitness and physical functions.
2. Acquire the theory and specific measurement and evaluation methods for various physical fitness components.
3. Acquire practical skills to apply the measurement results of various physical fitness components to various situations.

【Learning activities outside of the classroom】In sessions 5, 8, and 12, students are required to submit a short report summarizing the results of the measurement exercises for each physical fitness element. Students must compile the data measured outside the class time in sessions 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, and 14. Please follow the instructions given by the instructor in each class and study outside the class. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

【Grading Criteria/Policy】Grading will be decided based on participating in the discussion on the session (60%), the presentation, and the evaluation of materials(40%).
