Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course is an advanced seminar to write a graduation thesis in the fields of sport management. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to submit their theses that are worthy of being considered as sport management articles.

(Learning objectives)
The goals of this seminar are to (1) understand the purpose, importance, and benefit of a graduation thesis, (2) conduct research focusing on their own interests, (3) collect and analyze data in the sport industry, and (4) interpret conclusions drawn from their findings.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before each class, students are expected to analyze data and write the introduction, method, result, and discussion sections.

(Grading criteria)
Grading will be decided based on each student’s topic of interest (10%), research plan (10%), mid-term presentation (10%), final presentation (20%), and the quality of the graduation thesis (50%).
