Outline (in English)

【Course outline】The purpose of this course is to write a graduation thesis. To achieve this objective, students raise their research questions and experimental designs, as well as, collect and analyze data based on the knowledge, experience, and methods learned in previous classes.

【Learning Objectives】By the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. Set research themes and issues and formulate appropriate research plans.
2. Collect and analyze data using appropriate methods and present the results using charts and tables.
3. Think logically about the results obtained.
4. Write academic papers using appropriate notation and expressions.
5. Effectively presentation of the results obtained.

【Learning activities outside of the classroom】Preparation and review work outside of class is an essential requirement for completing the paper and various presentations. Students must conduct experiments, research, and prepare for presentations outside of class according to the assigned tasks. The standard time for these preparatory studies and reviews is 2 hours each.

【Grading Criteria/Policy】Grading will be decided based on the content of the research and paper conducted(70%), presentation and Q&A(20%), and participation in the discussion to the presentation(10%).
