Outline (in English)

Course outline
This class is for creating a graduation thesis. Students will read the previous studies and conduct measurements and surveys. After writing the introduction and method of the dissertation, the student analyzes the data obtained by the measurement and survey and writes the results, considerations, and conclusions. Students take the initiative in these tasks to understand the scientific approach to research and acquire a research attitude.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
−A. Clarify research issues such as phenomena, problems, and questions to be solved, and clarify the research purpose.
-B. You can make a research plan according to your research purpose.
-C. Data can be collected and analyzed according to the research plan.
-D. Be able to consider the meaning and significance of the obtained results.
-E. Summarize the findings obtained from the research, prepare papers and abstracts, and make oral presentations.

Learning activities outside of classroom
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

Grading Criteria /Policy
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report (40%), term-end examination (60%), and in-class contribution.
