Outline (in English)

Course outline
The main objective is to learn about coaching in a practical and theoretical way. This seminar aims to introduce the broad area, which is covered by sports coaching science. Students will be required to search and present issues they are interested in sports coaching. There are going to be group and individual assignments in regard with coaching topics. Students will be required to prepare and present their assignments, feedback will be provided after each presentation. Practical lessons and visiting training sessions are also planed. The secondary objective of this class is to help students building interest in a specific area, and start planning the diploma thesis.

Learning Objectives
1. Understanding the requirements and methods of modern sports coaching.
2. Learning about the international trends.
3. Being able to build up a training plan

Learning activities outside of classroom
Group study assignments outside of class time will be given in turn to create questions, plan the survey, conduct the survey, analyze the results, and prepare a presentation. Please work systematically in cooperation with your group members. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.

Grading Criteria /Policy
Evaluation will be based on the student's participation and attitude (50%) and presentation (50%).

In addition, small assignments may be required depending on the class session. The accumulation of these results may be added to the final exam score for evaluation.

Prohibitions] It is prohibited to photograph, record, or video the slides and videos presented in class without permission. It is also prohibited to record or videotape the class. Students who violate this rule by filming, recording, or videotaping without permission will not be allowed to take the regular examinations. Students who wish to obtain materials related to the class slides must consult with the instructor.
