Outline (in English)
(Course outline)The purpose of this course is to deepen understanding of the health issues of students and pupils in schools.
(Learning objectives)
Students will learn what school health is and the specific domain structure.
Then, students will be able to understand how the school environment should be maintained and what kind of guidance needs to be provided. The ultimate goal is to be able to recognize who is the subject of school health and to be able to think on one's own about what initiatives are necessary to achieve this.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend 2
hours to understand the course content.

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following.
Short-Reports(50%),term-end report(50%)

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本講義の目的は、学校における児童生徒及び学生等の健康課題について理解を深めることである。
学校保健とは何か、具体的な領域構造を学ぶ。その上で、どのように学校環境を維持すべきか、またどのような指導を行う必要があるかを理解できるようにする。学校保健の主体とは誰なのかを認識し、そのためにどのような取組が必要なのかを自ら考えられるようにすることが最終目標である。
到達目標Goal
学校保健の構造について理解し、学校保健がどのような法律によって裏付けされているのかを理解できるようにする。また、学校保健を支える関係者の存在について認識し、役割が理解できるようにする。保健管理の柱となる健康診断や健康観察の重要性、心の健康問題の背景を理解することで、心身の健康課題の解決に繋げられるようにする。一方の学習環境については、学習能率の向上や情操の陶冶にとっても重要であることが理解できるようにする。
