Outline (in English)

【Course outline】 Management is "the efficient and effective use of management resources to achieve the goals of an organization or workplace. In sports management, "organizations and workplaces" refer to various sports organizations and sports companies, regardless of whether they are professional or amateur, and "goals" refer to the pursuit of victory, improvement of business performance, and achievement of organizational philosophy. Management resources" refers to people, goods, money, and information related to sports organizations and workplaces. In this lecture, students will learn management methods in various areas of sports (sports management studies, regional development, tourism, etc.).
【Learning Objectives】1: To be able to explain the concept of sports management
2: To be able to use the theories learned in the lectures to consider and formulate opinions on other issues
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
During the course, students are expected to read news and case studies related to sports management and actively and actively collect information on sports management. (The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Class participation (reaction papers, participation in group work, speaking in class, etc.): 30%.
In-class quiz: 20%.
Final report assignment: 50%.
