(Course outline)
Accelerated Tests are used widely in manufacturing industries, particularly to obtain timely information on the reliability of simple components and materials. The purpose of this class is to understand the concepts and methods of accelerated life testing.
(Learning Objectives)
The goal of this class is to understand the estimation of reliability based on statistics using graphical, maximum likelihood, and Bayesian methods and to apply these methods to actual product life data from accelerated life tests.
(Learning activities outside of the classroom)
Your study time will be more than four hours for a class. As a prerequisite, students should review probability theory and statistics.
(Grading Criteria /Policies)
Your grade will be determined by a usual performance score (10%), exercises (10%), homework (40%), and a final assignment (40%). We may change the relative weighting of these at any time. You must submit the final assignment.

加速寿命試験は，製造業において，特に単純な部品や材料の信頼性に関する情報をタイムリーに得るために広く用いられている．この授業の目的は，加速寿命試験の概念と方法を理解することにある．
到達目標Goal
統計学に基づく信頼性の評価方法について，グラフィカル法，最尤法，ベイズ法による推定を理解し，実際の加速寿命試験による製品寿命データに活用できる．

加速寿命試験の動機と概念について学ぶ．

製品寿命である故障時間データとその確率モデルについて学ぶ．

信頼性分野で便利な確率モデルとして，位置尺度分布族と対数位置尺度分布族を学ぶ．

簡便なモデル推定法である確率プロット法と，ノンパラメトリック法を組み合わせた概念を学ぶ．
5[対面/face to face]：確率プロット法による推定
ノンパラメトリック法と回帰分析を組み合わせた確率プロット法によるパラメータ推定法を学ぶ．
6[対面/face to face]：最尤推定法
位置尺度分布族における最尤推定法について，漸近正規性を中心に学ぶ．
7[対面/face to face]：信頼区間の構成
パラメータの定義域を考慮した適切な信頼区間の構成方法について学ぶ．

信頼区間の近似的な算出法として，ブートストラップ法の概念を学ぶ．

信頼性データについてのベイズ推定の概念について学ぶ．

ベイズ推定の簡便な方法として，シミュレーションベースの事後サンプリング法を学ぶ．

加速寿命試験データを，位置尺度分布族と物理特性式でつなぎ推定する方法について学ぶ．
12[対面/face to face]：温度ストレスとアレニウス則
温度ストレスとアレニウス則に基づくモデルについて学ぶ．
13[対面/face to face]：電気ストレスと逆べき乗則
電気ストレスと逆べき乗則に基づくモデルについて学ぶ．
14[対面/face to face]：ステップストレス試験
段階的にストレスが上昇するステップストレス試験におけるモデルについて学ぶ．

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
成績は，平常点(10%), 講義中に出題する演習課題(10%), Homework(40%), 期末レポート(40%)で決定される．期末試験は必ず受験すること．上記の配分は状況に応じて変更する可能性がある．
