【Course Outline)】【Learning Objectives】
The objective of this course is to get a general idea of Indo-European languages.Specifically, by the end of the course, you should:

- become acquainted with the European languages in general,
- have enough knowledge about the their historical background,
- become acquainted with the basic knowledge about Indo-European studies and the backdrops of its development.
- have general knowledge about the relationship between Indo-European languages and other language families.
- begin to develop a general knowledge of linguistic history and structure.
【Learning Activities Outside of Classroom】
Each class session starts by reviewing the previous class session before new contents are introduced. Try to understand the basic facts and concepts before coming Tao the the class session.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Grades are given according to the result of the one big final exam.
