Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This seminar instructs students how to conduct research and write a master’s thesis. Guidance is given for each stage of research, including literature review, hypothesis development, data collection, hypothesis testing, and interpretation of results.
(Learning Objectives)
The goals of this seminar are the following.
1. To learn how to conduct literature review
2. To deduce a research question
3. To learn how to develop hypotheses
4. To learn how to design research
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Students are required to conduct literature review, decide a research question, develop hypotheses, and design a method to test hypotheses. These are conducted outside the classroom.
Students are expected to spend at least 2 hours daily on research.

Contribution to the seminar: 50%
Research proposal: 50%
