Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
You will learn the foundation of microeconomics, which is a theory to analyze individuals' and firms' decision-making and those interactions, and conduct problem exercises with some economic problems around you.
You can learn the fundamental thinking and analyzing methods of microeconomics, which can be the basis for learning the respective fields of business administration.

【Learning Objectives】
The goal of this course is to understand the foundation of microeconomics, which is a theory to analyze individuals' and firms' decision-making and those interactions.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students will be expected to have read the relevant chapter(s) from the text before each class meeting and to complete the required assignments weekly or bi-weekly. Your required study time is at least two hours for each class meeting.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 40%, Exercises and homework assignments: 30%, in-class contribution: 30%.
