Outline (in English)
In this graduate course on United Nations and peacebuilding studies (with focus on UN organizations), the students will examine the roles and activities of various UN agencies. They will analyze the different roles and activities of various international organizations in tackling global issues, and examine how they can effectively deal with the challenges of today`s world.

In this graduate course on United Nations and peacebuilding studies (with focus on UN organizations), the students will examine the roles and activities of various UN agencies. They will analyze the different roles and activities of various international organizations in tackling global issues, and examine how they can effectively deal with the challenges of today`s world.
到達目標Goal
In this course, the students will deepen their understanding on how the UN system and its agencies have evolved to address the changing global issues. The students will develop the ability to critically analyze UN policies and practices in addressing major global issues bearing in mind the political and socio-economic contexts at different times. Through presentation and discussions in English, the students will also enhance their English language proficiency.

The course offers a blend of theory and practice on issues related to international organizations, especially the UN and its development and peacebuilding activities. Classes will focus on the analysis of different roles and functions of the UN through presentation and discussion. The course will be conducted in English considering that its proficiency is required to study materials produced and dealt by the UN and other international organizations.
