Outline (in English)

Students will understand museums from the viewpoint of their materials and collection. They will see how the idea of museum materials and collection has been formed, and then study through concrete examples the process of collecting and registering materials, the way of conservation and the current state and issues of educational activities by way of exhibiting materials. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following  Term-end examination: 50%、Short reports and in the class contribution:50%.
