Outline (in English)

To study basic theories of digital media and information literacy for school librarians
To produce digital storytelling video about books and reading life
The goal is to acquire the ability to examine people living in an information media society, the ability to use information media in school libraries, media ethics, and basic video production skills.
Grading criteria are as follows. Class participation is 30%, filmmaking is 20%, and reports are 50%. Students will be required to do prep work and homework prepared in advance.For film production, students will conduct interviews and edit videos outside of class time. The standard preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
