Outline (in English)

Course outline:
This class aims at providing diverse understanding of the concept of curriculum by introducing it from three perspectives: historical changes of the concept, recent reform trends, and characteristic reform cases. In addition, through studying researches on curriculum and the curriculum guidelines, it is hoped to help students to understand the significance of curriculum and the usage of ICT as well as the practical way to organize, design, study, and evaluate it.
Learning objectives:
Students are able to understand the significance of school curriculum, methods of their developments, and ideas and implementations of the curriculum for competency building.
Learning activities outside of classroom:
 Since the concepts and theories are diverse, students are required to carefully review resumes and references. In addition, depending on the content of each lecture, reading and investigating information on particular topics may be assigned as homework. The preparation and review time for this class is about 4 hours every week.

Attendance and learning attitude 40%
