Outline (in English)
In this lecture, people aiming for the teaching profession will learn fundamental matters related to teaching jobs, and will decide their aptitude and will aim to raise motivation for the teaching profession.
We will examine the current situations of school education and school teachers, their careers, future issues and so on.
In this class, students will consider teaching as one of their future options, and will gain a basic understanding of the significance of the teaching profession, the role of teachers, their qualifications and abilities, and their duties. They will also consider what it means to be a teacher, what they need to learn and acquire in order to do so, and determine their own aptitude and motivation for the teaching profession.
Learning activities outside of classroom
When creating presentations and reports, it is essential to cite academic technical books (including educational history) related to the theme and fieldwork, so we will select them. The method etc. will be explained in the class. In addition, instruct preparatory learning in advance according to the theme of the lesson. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading Criteria /Policy
Comprehensively evaluate that you can understand basic knowledge and ideas, and that you are willing to take the initiative in learning the four-year teaching profession. Specifically, the evaluation will be based on the tasks presented during class: 40% and the regular exam: 60%.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本講義では、教職を将来の選択肢のひとつとして考え、教職意義、教員の役割・資質能力・職務内容等について基本的な知識や考え方を理解し、教職に就くとはどういうことか、そのためにどのようなことを学び、身につけておかなければならないのかなど、自らの適性を判断して教職への意欲を高めること、「主体的・対話的で深い学び（アクティブ・ラーニング）」の意義を学び、指導のための資質能力を身につけることを目的としている。
具体的には、教職の意義及び教員の役割、教員の職務内容を主たる要素として授業を構成する。近年、日々の生活や学習に困難を抱える児童・生徒への対応、保護者や地域課題への対応など、教師が向き合う課題は多様性と複雑さを増している。教職という職業にはこれまで以上に教育するという行為への強い気持ちと生涯にわたって学び続けるという自覚が求められている。また「チーム学校」への対応など、学校の内外との連携も重視されてきており、教員一人ひとりの役割を理解すると同時に、組織として諸課題に対応することも期待されている。今日の学校教育や学校教員の現状、かれらを取り巻く諸問題についての概要をおさえながら、教員の仕事のありよう、生き方等について具体的な検討を行い、受講生一人ひとりの教職についての理解を、対話を通して実践的に深めていく。

In this class, students will consider teaching as one of their future options, and will gain a basic understanding of the significance of the teaching profession, the role of teachers, their qualifications and abilities, and their duties. 学習指導要領で「主体的・対話的で深い学び(アクティブ・ラーニング)」が1 つの柱となることから、グループワーク、フィールドワーク、プレゼンテーションを用い、実践的に進めていく。従って下の【授業計画】は、あくまでもモデルケースであり、学生の理解度、対話の進捗によって柔軟に再構築していく。
リアクションペーパー等におけるコメントは授業内で紹介し、さらなる議論に活かす。
新型コロナウィイルスの感染状況による変更も含め、授業の課題等、詳細については、「学習支援システム」を通じて告知する。
大学行動方針レベルが２となった場合、この授業は原則としてオンラインで行う。詳細は学習支援システムで伝達する。
Since "independent, interactive and deep learning (active learning)" is one of the pillars of the course of study, we will use group work, fieldwork, and presentations to proceed practically. Therefore, the [Class Plan] below is just a model case, and will be flexibly reconstructed according to the degree of understanding of the students and the progress of the dialogue.

プレゼンテーション、レポートの作成にあたってはテーマに関連した学術的 専門書(教育史を含む)の引用とフィールドワークを必須とするので、その選定をおこなう。方法等については授業内で説明する。その他、授業のテー マに合わせて事前に準備学習を指示する。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は各2時間を標準とします。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
基本的な知識や考え方を理解できること、４年間の教職課程の学びに主体的に取り組む意思があることを総合的に評価する。具体的には、授業中に提示される課題：40％、定期試験：60％で評価を行う。
