Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course introduces how to analyze and value business firms. In this course, students will learn more advanced content from Business Analysis and Valuation Ⅰ. Topics that will be covered are advanced ROE analysis, preparation of forecasted financial statements and valuation models.

(Learning Objectives)
By the end of the course, students are expected to do the following:
1.Comprehend financial ratios and performance indicators and be able to utilize them to understand the underlying corporate characteristics
2. Understand the relationship between return on capital (ROA and ROE), cost of capital, and corporate (shareholder) value
3.To be able to prepare forecasted financial statements
4.Understand how to estimate shareholder value using forecasted financial statements

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
After each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content since the contents of each class are highly related.

(Grading Criteria)
Grading will be decided based on term-end exam (100%).
