Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
The practice theme is “Develop Your Thinking Skill!”
Through discussions based on news articles, etc., students mutually share diverse opinions with other classmates, widen their scopes, and cultivate skills to form their own opinions and explain them.
Furthermore, in the groupwork for the year-end presentation, students select social and cultural themes they are interested in, collect data and materials, and form their collective opinions through interim reports and discussions.

(Learning Objectives)
At the end of the course, you are expected to A and B.
-A. Acquiring the abilities for thinking and explaining by yourselves through the discussions about various news articles.
-B. Assembling considerations for the workshop by selecting the topics and gleaning literature and data by yourselves.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before the workshop, you will be expected to make the concept gleaning literature and data by yourselves.
Your study time will be more than two hours each for before and after the classes.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Assignments : 50%, in class contribution: 50%
