Outline (in English)

Theme: Education, Life, Culture, Labour and Policy

Why are people likely to expect edcation to solve the social problems when they have happened? Is education so almighty? "Working makes a person dwvelop." On what ground do you think so? "Decentralization can implement better policies because the distantce to the residents is shorter." Is it true? ---- In this class we are to deconstruct what we usually take it for granted, to do the research, analyze data and write a logical and relevant paper. Devote yourself to this both hard and joyful work!　Before each class meeting, students will be expected to have written the presentation documents and/or read those of others. Study time will be averagelly two hours for a class. Grading will be based on the quality of the presentation (50%) and discussion (50%).
