Outline (in English)

This course provides an overview of the fundamental principles of academic research for students enrolled in the study. By the end of the period, students should be able to:
・Learn the basics of the American Psychological Association citation style, academic writing, and academic research,
・Conduct keyword searches to locate previous research,
・Create visually appealing charts and graphs from numerical data using Excel
Interpret data from figures and tables and effectively communicate their findings to others,
・Comprehend the structure of writing a series of academic papers, including problem, purpose, method, results, and discussion.
Students must complete assignments after each class meeting and should expect to spend more than four hours per class on coursework. Grading will be based on reports (50%) and class participation (50%).
