Outline (in English)
【授業の概要（Course outline）】
Along with the progress of globalization, a big issue is how to rethink diversity as a valuable resource and how to enhance symbiosis of diverse people. In this course, focusing on Muslim in Japan and world, issues related to multicultural symbiosis and education are explored.
【到達目標 / Goal】
Students are able to acquire basic knowledge about Muslim people, culture, and issues related to multicultural coexistence.
Students are able to conduct group work and effectively discuss topics related to Muslims.
【授業時間外の学習（Learning activities outside of classroom）】
Students will be expected to read the text, conduct research and study, reflect on their learning, prepare materials on the subject, and prepare a presentation.
【成績評価の方法と基準（Grading Criteria/Policy）】
Grading will be decided based on in class contribution (30%) and assignments and presentations (70%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
グローバル化の進展に伴い、多様性を価値ある資源として捉え直し、多様な人々の共生をいかに進めるのかが大きな課題となっている。本授業では、日本と世界のムスリムに焦点をあて、イスラムをめぐる多文化共生の課題について検討する。
到達目標Goal
・ムスリムの人々や文化、多文化共生をめぐる課題などの基本的な知識を得ることができる。
・ムスリムに関するテーマについてグループワークを進め、効果的に討論することができる。

対面で授業を実施し、授業支援システムを活用する。担当したテーマについてスライドを作成し発表を行う。また、個人の興味・関心に従い問いを立て、調査研究を進めて研究レポートを作成し発表を行う。授業のなかで課題についてのフィードバックを行う。

授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
授業の準備として、教科書や関連する文献や資料を読んでくる。興味・関心に従って調査研究を進め、研究レポートを作成し、プレゼンの準備をする。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は各2時間を標準とする。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
