Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
If we can read not only Japanese but also literature written in English, the range of knowledge that we can acquire will be greatly expanded. In this lesson, initially, we will focus on plain English newspaper articles, before moving on to classic research papers on business administration. We would like students to experience the significance and enjoyment of learning by actually touching representative English papers on business administration.

【Learning Objectives】
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
-A.Understand the concepts and backgrounds necessary for business in English.
-B.Able to read academic literature written in English.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Short reports : 70%、in class contribution: 30%
