Outline (in English)

(Course outline)This class will focus on the civil society sector, which is active in community welfare, the environment, and peace-building. Learn how the three sectors of government, business and citizens complement each other in order to meet the needs of society. Furthermore, understand that these activities lead to mutual assistance and joint growth in civil society.

(Goal)
1, Increase understanding of the meaning of terms, and develop the ability to gain insight into how society operates under the influence of diverse actors, organizations, and ideologies.
2. Based on the given information, deepen the ability to reach a deeper understanding (academic skills) by investigating more deeply, discussing, and making presentations.

(Learning activities outside of classroom) Lecture :Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend more than two hours to understand the course content or to read, research, write and go to field.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Active participation and contribution, submission of reports: 70%
Final Report: 30%
