Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
 In this class, students will understand how to use quantitative surveys to measure human behavior and attitudes. Specifically, the course will focus on data related to education, family, and community, and will cover the procedures and analysis methods used to conduct surveys and how to effectively summarize the results.

【Learning Objectives】
(1) Clarify the awareness of a problem and formulate a hypothesis.
(2) Learn how to search for previous research and use existing data.
(3) Learn how to create, conduct, and analyze a simple questionnaire survey.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
 Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than two hours for a class.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
 Final grade will be calculated according to the following process report (50%), presentation of results (20%), and in-class contribution(30%).
