Outline (in English)

Outline and objectives: We aim to acquire fundamental knowledge on the issue of developmental and educational field and to acquire a viewpoint on how to cut out those problems. In many cases, we think that "my way of thinking is natural", "everyone thinks so", "it is natural". In other words, we can catch things only within our "obvious" framework. However, as it is, only the shallow educational theory which imposes his thought can be developed. I will think about ways to know and overcome what your framework is like.
Goal: The goal is to acquire basic knowledge about 10 topics related to development and education and, also, to understand how they usually think within the "natural framework" and explore their roots.
Methods: This class will cover 10 educational issues (topics). Studemnts are required to prepare for the basic knowledge in Section 1 of each textbook before attending the class. Every class a quiz to measure the acquisition rate of basic knowledge is held. In the class, a viewpoint that overcomes the natural framework and reconsider the knowledge that we have prepared is showed.
Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.) :all textbook chapters are composed of three chapters. Section 1 of each chapter contains all the basic knowledge for learning that unit. Due to class time, basic knowledge is a preparatory task and a weekly test is conducted. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
Grading criteria: 50%=quiz in each class, 50 %=term-end exam. (The grading criteria way may be changed according to the student's request)
