Outline (in English)
(Course outline)
This class aims to rethink the essence of moral education and further to get a perspective on the future of moral education. With the change of turning to a "special subject," fundamental questions such as“What is moral education? Is moral education possible? How should moral education be done?" are examined. In this class, the history, current state and issues of moral education are explored in order to articulate the future of moral education. On top of that, this class aims to acquire knowledge regarding how to design moral education lessens through getting to know excellent practices of moral education.
(Learning Objectives)
Students are able to understand the goals and contents of moral education at a school, moral education through whole school educational activities, and curriculum and instruction of moral education. Specifically students are able to ① grasp the current situation and issues of moral education, ② explain the essence of morality, ③ understand the history of moral education, ④ know the goals and main contents of moral education in the National Courses of Study, ⑤ design lesson plans of moral education, and ⑥ develop perspectives of how to improve lessons through the simulated lessons and their reflection.

Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本講義は道徳の本質を問い直し、そのうえで今後の道徳教育のあり方についての展望を与えることを目指すものである。道徳教育をめぐっては、道徳が「特別の教科」に変更されたことに伴い、そのあり方をめぐって議論が進められているが、そうした転換期にあって、「そもそも道徳とは何か？」「道徳教育は可能なのか？」「道徳教育はいかになされるべきか？」といった根本的な問いに向き合うことは不可欠であろう。本講義ではそうした原理的な問いに立ち返りつつ、今後の道徳教育のあり方を問うべく、道徳教育の歴史、現状、課題について概説する。そしてそのうえで優れた道徳教育の実践を紹介し、履修者自らが授業を構成していくための知識の修得を目指す。

道徳の意義や原理等に基づき、学校における道徳教育の目標や内容を理解する。 学校の教育活動全体を通じて行う道徳教育及びその要となる道徳科における指導計画や指導方法を理解する。
①道徳教育の現状と課題について把握する。
②道徳の本質を説明できる。
③道徳教育の歴史について理解する。
④学習指導要領に示された道徳教育及び道徳科の目標及び主な内容を理解している。
⑤自ら「道徳」の授業を組み立てることができる。
⑥模擬授業の実施とそのふりかえりを通して、授業改善の視点を身につけている。

基本的に講義形式で授業を進める。授業の中で適宜グループワーク（ペアワーク）やディスカッション、プレゼンテーション等を課す。
また、前回授業にて課されたリアクションペーパー等における良いコメントは授業内で紹介し、さらなる議論に活かす。

道徳、倫理、マナー、ルールから「道徳教育の指導」を検討し、現代社会と学校の役割を考える。
第2回[オンライン/online]：道徳教育の現状と課題－「道徳の教科化」とその学習評価
「資質・能力」から道徳教育を検討する。
「道徳の時間」と「道徳科」を巡る議論を検討する。
「学習評価方法の課題」を考える。
第3回[オンライン/online]：道徳教育の歴史
修身科と教育勅語を中心に戦前の道徳教育を検討する。
道徳教育の戦後の推移を検討する。
第4回[オンライン/online]：心の教育について—学習指導要領における「心の教育」
教育の諸言説にみる「心」について検討する。
第5回[オンライン/online]：いのちの教育について—学習指導要領における「いのちの教育」
「生命の尊さ」「崇高なもの」を通じた道徳教育指導を検討する。
第6回[対面/face to face]：人権教育について—学習指導要領における「人権教育」
人権の基本を踏まえ、差別、いじめについて考える。
第7回[対面/face to face]：道徳性の発達理論
発達論から道徳の指導を検討する。
第8回[対面/face to face]：悪の体験と子どもの発達
道徳の指導における「道徳を超える体験」について検討する。
第9回[対面/face to face]：情報モラル
情報化社会の進展と情報モラルについて検討する。
第10回[対面/face to face]：シティズンシップ教育について
市民としての道徳教育について検討する。
第11回[対面/face to face]：モラルジレンマ型の道徳教育
モラルジレンマ型授業の基本とモラルジレンマ型授業展開上の注意について検討する。
第12回[対面/face to face]：「道徳」における指導案の書き方および発問の仕方について
「道徳科」指導案の書き方を（本時の展開・発問の工夫を中心に）検討する。
第13回[対面/face to face]：模擬授業の実施および「道徳」の実践例の紹介
指導案を踏まえた実践について（導入の工夫・展開の構想・終末の注意点を中心に）検討する。
授業でのICT利活用について検討する。
第14回[対面/face to face]：全体のふりかえりとまとめ
まとめとして道徳教育と学校教育の課題について考える。
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
授業各回にのぞんでは、前回までの学習内容の復習をし、指示された課題については必ず取り組む。
授業後は、授業中に提示された資料や参考文献を熟読し、各回のテーマの理解を深める。
本授業の準備学習・復習時間は各2時間を標準とする。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
毎回の授業における課題（60％）と1４回目に行う達成度を確認するレポート（40％）の点数を合わせて総合的に評価する。

授業の進度については、学生から得た意見・要望をその都度伺いつつ、反映する。
