Outline (in English)

While exercising the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English in an integrated manner, you will be exposed to artistic expressions of social activism in the world. You will learn the language presented in the works as well as the messages conveyed through the activism and its social, historical, and political backgrounds. You will also have a chance to consider the relationship between art and social activism, namely, the role that various forms of art play in maintaining, restoring, regaining, or enhancing social justice in the world. Feedback will be provided in interaction throughout the course and for your reflective writing and class presentations within a week of submission. Your work will be assessed through participation, group and individual presentations, and reflective writings.
