Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
 In this course, we examine the question "What is care?" from the perspective of "Global Ethics of Care and Justice". At that time, in this subject, we will consider the problem of care labor by examining the specific question of "who cares who". In addition, we will ask the contemporary significance of the previously controversial issue of the conflict between care and justice. From there, the aim of this course is to help students examine the question of what is care ethics in global ethics in the 21st century from various angles.

【Learning Objectives】
At the end of the course, students are expected to describe the differences between ethics of justice and ethics of care in detail and to understand the concept of care comprehensively.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

【Grading Criteria /Policy】
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process Mid-term report (30%), term-end examination (30%), and in-class contribution(40%).
