Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
In this class, students learn about collecting information, discussing, creating materials, making presentations and listening through group activities. Students prepare for taking classes in the form of so-called "seminars" and "exercises" at university.
[Learning Objectives]
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
1.Students can actively and effectively carry out group activities based on the concept of collaborative learning.
2.Students can collect necessary information from the perspective of the person to whom the information is communicated and appropriately select the information.
3.Students can give notes to make presentation materials that are highly documentary and motivated to read, and can actually create them.
4.Students can explain and practice what is needed to keep listeners listening and make easy-to-understand presentations.
5.Students can understand and evaluate appropriately while listening to the presentations of others.
[Learning activities outside of classroom]
The standard preparation time for this class is 3 hours, and the standard review time is 1 hour.
[Grading Criteria /Policy]
The overall grade of the class is determined based on the following.
In-class contribution 40%, group presentation 40%, contribution to group activities 20%.
