The purpose of the seminar is to improve the presentation, leadership, management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills of students through group projects to become effective leaders, managers, and team members in society.

Students will analyze project management and leadership skills, as well as apply those skills to their own communication and actions.

For 2nd and 3rd year students:
Students will discuss and practice different methods of leading and managing teams of their own, and report on discoveries about themselves. This will then be applied to real team projects within the course, with self and peer-reflection activities to follow. Feedback on course assignments will primarily be given through classroom discussions in-person and on Google Classroom.
For 4th year students:
A graduation thesis will be written in English across the spring and fall semesters. Students will undertake homework assignments related to research and writing the thesis and meet online/face-to-face with the teacher 5-7 times during each semester to present their work and get feedback on their progress via Google Classroom.4th year students are not required to attend seminar classes with 2nd and 3rd year students if they do not wish to.

For 2nd and 3rd year students:
Project work, possible field trips, and presentations - 70%
Classwork/Homework assignments and participation - 30%
For 4th year students:
Graduation thesis (written in English) - 100%
(not required, but available for 3rd year students who apply and are successful)

If the course is conducted online, a laptop computer or tablet is highly recommended. Although the course is entirely accessible via smartphone, students may find difficulties accessing multiple platforms during online class if joining the class with a smartphone.
