Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This seminar is designed to analyze and examine corporate behavior and the relationship between firms and capital markets using various approaches such as financial statement analysis, corporate valuation, and strategic analysis. By doing so, students will learn comprehensive methods of data collection, data analysis, and consideration through research, incorporating not only financial and statistical data, but also newspaper and magazine articles, research papers, academic papers, and interviews.

【Learning Objectives】
This seminar aims to improve individual communication and leadership skills, as well as presentation skills, through role-sharing, coordination of opinions, reporting, discussion, etc. Each student is expected to be able to think deeply through not only group work, but also through writing papers and other activities.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Before/after each seminar class tim, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content, including research, analysis, and preparation of materials for research reports and discussions.

【Grading Criteria】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Outcomes of each project: 50%
Contribution to seminar activities: 50%
