Outline and objectives

This course mainly focuses on listening and speaking on several different topics.
Objective 1: Develop the ability to understand the purpose behind what someone is saying.
Objective 2: Enhance the skills for participating in conversations and expressing your voice/opinion effectively.

In this course, students will utilize a textbook and engage in various activities that emphasize speaking, listening, and vocabulary development. Homework assignments, which will mainly focus on listening skills, will be submitted through Google Classroom. Class activities will include opportunities for students to practice their listening and speaking skills in context through conversation prompts, role-plays, discussions, and debates. Feedback on their progress will be provided both during class and through Google Classroom to help students understand the speaker's intent and enhance their discussion and self-expression skills.
