Outline (in English)
Outline:
Read French texts on French society and culture. Consolidate the understanding of basic grammar learned in the first year and improve the ability to read out loud. And through reading the text, spread knowledge about various aspects of France.
Learning Objectives:
While understanding French grammar and syntax, we translate into accurate Japanese. You can read French sentences aloud without making spelling or accent mistakes. You will also be able to think about and express opinions about French society and culture while comparing them with those of Japan.Learning activities outside of classroom:
Preliminary study of the reading comprehension part instructed in advance (creating a Japanese translation), recording of text excerpts (4 times per semester), review for quizzes 3 times per semester. The standard time for preparation and review required for these is 90 minutes each time.
Grading Criteria /Policy:
Translation and remarks (20%), reading assignments (40%), quizzes (30%), class participation (10%)

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
フランスの社会や文化に関するテクストをフランス語で読む。初年次に学んだ基礎的文法の理解を確かなものにし，声に出してきちんと読める能力も鍛える。もちろんテクスト読解を通して，フランスの諸相についての知見も広める。
到達目標Goal
フランス語の文法や構文をきちんと理解しながら，フランス語原文をこなれた日本語に訳す。綴り字の読み方やアクセントの置く位置などを間違えずに，フランス語の文章を音読できるようにする。そして日本とも比べながらフランスについて考え，一定の見解やイメージを抱く。

予め指示した講読箇所を日本語に訳し音読してもらう。一つのテクストを読了するとディスカッションの機会ももうけるが，履修者数次第では，自分の意見や感想を事前に書いて提出してもらう可能性もある。ミニ・テストに関しては２～３課ごとに実施する。加えて，テクスト抜粋を音読してスマートフォンなどで収録した音声課題によって，フランス語の読み方も評価する。

事前に指示された講読箇所の予習（日本語訳の準備），テクスト抜粋の音読収録（半期４回），半期３回実施される小テストにむけた復習，これらのために要する準備学習・復習時間は毎回９０分を標準とする。
