Outline (in English)
In this course, we will learn intermediate grammar gradually by practicing conversation and reading texts related to German daily life and culture. We will focus on conversation practice and composition, aiming to improve comprehensive communication skills on German.
The objectives of this class are as follows:
-Review and solidify the grammar learned in the first year.
-To be able to express oneself on abstract matters such as one's own culture and lifestyle through pronunciation practice, conversation practice, and writing.
-To be able to understand everyday German sentences with the help of a dictionary, and to learn grammatical matters such as adjective comparison that were not covered in the beginner's class.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
ドイツの日常生活や文化に関するやさしい会話や読章を通じて、一年次の復習をしながら中級レベルの文法事項を少しずつ学んでゆきます。会話練習や作文によって、総合的なドイツ語運用力の向上をめざします。
到達目標Goal
日本のドイツ語検定３級以上の運用能力を身につける。具体的には、
・１年次で学んだ文法事項を復習し、確実なものとする。
・発音練習と会話練習、作文等を通じて、自分たちの文化や生活習慣など、抽象的な事柄について表現できる。
・初級の授業で扱わなかった形容詞の比較などの文法事項を学び、自分で辞書をひきながら日常的なドイツ語文を理解できる。
At the end of this lesson, participants are expected to be able to：
・Review and consolidate the grammatical structures learned in the first year,
・Express themselves on abstract matters such as their culture and lifestyle through pronunciation and conversation practice, writing, etc.,
・Understand everyday German sentences by using a dictionary.

まずキーセンテンスを含む会話を何度も一緒に読み、次に文法事項や語彙、表現について解説しますので、要点をノートに整理してください。
そのあと各課の内容に応じて、ペア単位あるいはグループで会話や作文、聴き取りなどの練習に取り組みます。単語や表現、文法事項などに関する補足プリントを学習支援システムHoppiiにアップしますので、授業時に参照できるようにしておいてください。

第３課のテストとまとめ
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
授業内での作業が主体なので、学んだことを授業の後でノートに整理しましょう。予習の範囲と内容は毎回授業の終わりに指示されるので、しっかり準備すること。またテキストの内容に応じて簡単な課題（作文やミニ・レポート）の提出を求められることがあります。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、合わせて1.5時間を標準とします。
Organise what you have learned in your notebook after class, as it is mainly in-class work. The scope and content of the preparatory work will be indicated at the end of each class, so prepare well. You may also be asked to submit a brief assignment (essay or mini-report) depending on the content of the text. The standard combined preparation and review time for this class is 1.5 hours.

参考書References
１年次の授業で使った文法の教科書がなによりの参考書になるので、授業に持ってくることを勧めます。辞書は授業内でひんぱんに使うので、毎時間忘れないでください。
成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
教科書の１ないしは２課が終了するごとに３～４０分程度のテストを行ない、その合計点を７０パーセント、授業への参加度や課題への取り組み、発音等の平常点を３０パーセントとして成績評価します。
やむをえない理由でテストを欠席した場合は、学期末に再テストを受けること。未受験のテストは０点となります。
A 3-40 minute test will be given after each lesson or two of the textbook, with a total of 70 per cent of the total score and 30 per cent of normal marks for class participation, work on assignments, pronunciation, etc.
If a student misses a test for unavoidable reasons, he/she must take a retest at the end of the semester. Unattempted tests will receive a grade of zero.
