Outline (in English)
【Outline and objectives】
While reviewing what students have learned in the first year, they will further develop and practice German expressions and improve their operational skills.
Students will also deepen their understanding of the culture and society of German-speaking countries, and develop the ability to actively appreciate the diversity of language and culture.
【Learning Objectives】
Students will be able to understand commonly used sentences and expressions and be able to explain and communicate in simple language when traveling in German-speaking countries, as well as in everyday life such as basic personal information, shopping, neighborhood, work, etc.
Students will gain various insights into the characteristics of the culture and society of German-speaking countries and develop the ability to understand different values.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The students will learn the meanings and pronunciations of important vocabulary used in each topic using a vocabulary learning application.
The review assignments will be given almost every class, so please be conscious of the importance of the review assignments in order to consolidate what you have learned.
The standard preparation and review time for this class is approximately 2 hours each.
【Grading Criteria /Policy】
A test (hearing and written) will be administered after each topic is completed. An oral exam will be given at the end of the term.
Grading will be based on the degree of completion of homework and in-class assignments (30%), in-class written test (35%), and oral exam (35%), and students will be graded comprehensively, passing the course if they achieve 60% or more of the total.
Students will not be graded if absences without justifiable reason exceed 30% of the total number of absences.

一年次に学んだことを復習しつつ、さらに発展的、実践的にドイツ語の表現を学び、運用力をつけていきます。
ドイツ語圏の文化・社会についても理解を深め、言語や文化の多様性を積極的に理解する力を養います。
到達目標Goal
基本的な個人情報、買い物、近所、仕事などの日常生活や、ドイツ語圏での旅行時において、よく使われる表現を理解し、簡単な言葉で説明したりコミュニケーションをとれるようになります。
ドイツ語圏の文化・社会の特徴について、様々な気づきを得て、異なる価値観を理解する力を養います。

・教科書のテーマに沿って、ドイツ語の語彙や表現を学び、聴き取り・発音・ペアでの会話練習・文法練習・テキストの読み・グループワークなど様々な形式の課題を行います。
・ドイツ語の背景にある文化・社会・歴史についても、適宜理解していきます。
・課題等のフィードバックは、添削の返却、授業時間内での対面フィードバック、場合によっては「学習支援システム」を通じて行う予定です。
・グループによる協同学習やパフォーマンス課題も行います。

夏休みの課題について
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
・準備学習としては、各テーマで使用する重要語彙の意味と発音を単語学習アプリで学習します。
・復習をどれだけ丁寧に行うかが語学の習得にとっては大変重要ですので、ほぼ毎回出す授業の復習課題では、学習内容の定着につなげるよう意識的に取り組んで下さい。
・本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、それぞれ約２時間程度を標準とします。

1年次のドイツ語(a)(b)の教科書は適宜活用して下さい。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
・各テーマを終えるごとに小テスト（ヒヤリング・筆記）を実施します。期末は口頭試験を行います。
・成績評価は、宿題・授業内の課題達成度（３０％）、授業内筆記テスト（３５％）、口頭試験（３５％）を目安に総合的に判断し、全体の６０％以上の達成で合格とします。
・正当な理由のない欠席が全体の３０％を超えた場合は成績評価対象外となります。

・ドイツ語圏の映画やドイツ語圏の文化・社会に関する時事ニュースは好評につき、積極的に紹介します。
・口頭試験の具体的な実施方法は、事前に一度授業内で練習します。
その他の重要事項Others
・一年生で習ったことを忘れている場合も、気づいたときに必ず見直して知識を補充していきましょう。そのうえで新しい表現や知識を理解し、使えるようになりましょう。
・そのためには、語彙や知識を少しずつでもいいので継続的に反復して蓄積することが大事です。
・課題のプリントは、出題されたときに復習として学習し、翌週提出してください。テスト前に学期分をまとめて提出するなどは、本来の学習効果を見込めませんので、評価対象外とします。
