Outline (in English)
[Course outline]
Reading English texts, students develop their reading abilities as well as other skills such as listening, speaking and writing.
Students deepen their knowledge and broaden their perspectives.

1. Read texts correctly.
2. Understand social and historical backgrounds as well as human feelings.
3. Use your knowledge, imagination and sensitivity, think deeply.
4. Describe your thought correctly.

An essay 30%
A speech 20%
Final exam 50%
You will get credits for the class with compliting 60% or more of the above mentioned.

毎回の授業の予習として、1)何度も音声を聞きシャドーイングを行う、2)辞書を丁寧に引き、テキストの内容を理解する、3)わからないところや疑問点を明確にする等、自宅で十分に授業準備を行って授業に臨む。

通常時の予習・復習（レポート、スピーチを除く）は3時間以上を標準とします。音声は毎日何度も聞きましょう。
