Outline (in English)
We read English passages which introduce a variety of topics about our society, culture, and business, taking notice of their contexts. At the same time we can practically review wording and grammar used in each passage. Another goal is to get accustomed to thinking actively and exchanging respective ideas through group work. Moreover, we can do additional practices according to the situation of each class.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
社会から文化・ビジネスまで、注目されている話題を英語で読んでいきますが、文脈に注目し、必要に応じて語法や文法を実践的に復習することを目的とします。また自ら考え英語で意見を交わすことに慣れるよう、グループワークを通し主体的に学ぶことを念頭に置きます。またクラスの状況に合わせ追加演習を用意します。

講義と演習。授業シートを終了前に毎回提出（遅れての提出は原則的に認めない）。
前もって作成した原稿を元に、ペアで質疑応答を交わし記録する。
教科書を用い、400-500wordsの英文をまず聴いて論旨を抑え、同じ英文を読んで構成を抑える。
次回のペアワークに備え、topicを選んで原稿の草案を作る。
