Outline (in English)

This course aims to cultivate the speaking and writing skills among the four basic English skills. In order to cultivate those skills, we will mainly do the following tasks; (1) listen to TED TALK in order to cultivate the listening skills, (2)learn the pronunciation of English to enhance speaking (3) learn the basic skills of essay writing, and (4) write an essay and make presentations based on the knowledge acquired.
Students are expected to do the assigned homework, which should be about 1 hour per week. The grades will be based on participation (30%), assignments(30%), the final presentation(30%), and TOEIC sore (10%).
