Calculus is an essential technique not only in the prediction of phenomena in real world and various simulations, but also in the applications of information science. In this class, we will study the basics and applications of calculus of real functions with two or more variables such as partial derivative, multiple integral, and Gaussian integral etc.
This class requires "Calculus - Basic Techniques and Applications".

【Learning Objectives】
To learn calculus of functions with multi-variables, especially two and three variables and to understand the usefulness of these techniqus in real problems.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Students will be expected to have completed the required assingments after each class meeting. Four hours will be your standard study time for this class.

【Grading Criteria/Policies】
Overall grade in this class will be decided based on the followings;
